About me
My name is Tarik, an Arabic name that means the morning star. Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to parents with mixed family roots in Damascus, Bierut, Istanbul, Haifa & Alhijaz.
In 2007, I started my architectural engineering journey when I was 17 years old.
I worked in my family's glass manufacturing workshop and built the first factory in Jeddah immediately after studying in Damascus and London in 2013.
In 2017, I moved to Delft, the Netherlands, joining the Delft University of Technology at the Faculty of Architecture to pursue Architectural and technological studies.
Currently, I am in my final year of completing my Dual-degree in architecture & technology at Delft, working as a full-time Senior implementations consultant for advanced A.E.C. solutions in Autodesk Inc.
Since starting my career, I have worked on several academic and non-academic projects in Syria, Saudi Arabia, the U.K., and The Netherlands, varying from airports, public buildings, and private residences to multi-creational buildings and factories. These projects were varied in Architecture, Engineering, Glass and telecommunications industries.
